This is our first blog post, coming at an appropriate time at Ambiance Painting. We’re making a lot of changes these days, converting to cleaner living. Before you think I’ve given up my favorite vices, think again. This is about expanding the way I view the profession of painting houses. No longer is painting only about decoration or the way in which a house looks, when we paint a home, we’re just as interested in the way in which you live in it, and what we put in it that affects it. And cleaner is the way to go.
I was thrilled to become Green certified this year. It’s only a start, but it puts me way ahead of any other painters in lower Fairfield County. Now that I am putting away my Motorcycle (will never clean up that favorite vice) for the year and starting my diet (2nd favorite vice — ok, maybe, I could clean up this one), I am ready for some serious indoor “Green Painting”. Let’s get all my clients educated about the new “Green” Paint lines from Ben Moore and the other major paint companies and the difference cleaner living can make.
